Anemones (2000)

Length: 17 min., Format: Video, color
Production: The Film & TV Department of the Tel Aviv University
With the participation of Shlomo Bar-Aba

The script for Anemones was first conceived by David Perlov in the form of drawings, in the late 50s when the Society for the Protection of Nature commissioned a film from him. The project was not carried out.
Fifty years later, based on the same drawings, Perlov made the film with a master-class at Tel Aviv University, together with students of the Film & Television Department, and a guest actor. Anemones is full of humor, immersed in music and color, and reflects an astonishingly free cinematic imagination and craft.
